Process for Patients with Insurance
- All patients must bring ID or the carnet from the insurance company without exception, to verify if the policy is active and the co-payment.
- If the patient doesn’t have an external consultation benefit the total must be paid. A form for medical expenses will be filled, so you can make the reimbursement process with the insurance company.
- An EGC will be performed in the first consultation and once a year, as a process established by Cardio Care.
- The co-payment the patient must pay for any consultation is Q40.00, Q.50.00, Q.60.00, Q.75.00 o Q100.00 according to the policy + Q.46.75 for the ECG, if needed.
- Club de la Salud (Health club): If your carnet belongs to the health club, the co-payment for any consultation is Q.280.00 + Q.200.00 for the ECG.
- Cardio Care will ask the insurance company for the certification for: laboratories, x-rays, special diagnostic studies or medicine purchase when needed.
- For diagnostic studies that are performed at Cardio Care, the authorization will be processed internally and in cases where the diagnostic studies are performed in other diagnostic centers or laboratories, the patient must make the corresponding procedure.
