Before the test:
- The child must be accompanied by a family member (an adult).
- The family member is responsible of the care and good behavior of the child.
During the test:
- There are no differences with the technique described in the adult Doppler echocardiogram
- It may be necessary to sedate the child; in which case the pediatric cardiologist will give you a detailed explanation of the method
