Process for Patients with Insurance
- All patients must have a letter of authorization at each visit, which Cardio Care requests from Bupa when scheduling an appointment or can be arranged through their insurance broker.
- The corresponding verification will be checked with Bupa to validate that there is no pending deductible, in order to provide the service.
- An EGC will be performed in the first consultation and once a year, as a process established by Cardio Care, the price is Q.62.50
- The copayment for the first consultation or re-consultation is Q 112.50 + the percentage of payment of the EKG if you need it.
- For diagnostic studies that are performed at Cardio Care, the authorization will be processed internally and in cases where the diagnostic studies are performed in other diagnostic centers or laboratories, the patient must make the corresponding procedure.
- If the insurance does not cover the health care service, or a study, a copy of the invoice of what is not covered will be sent directly to the insurance, to do it as a reimbursement if applicable.
