Process for Patients with Insurance

  • The patient or insurer calls Cardio Care to make the appointment, where they will be told if the patient should have an electrocardiogram.
  • When it is the patient who calls to schedule the appointment, he/she must then call the insurance company to indicate the time and doctor who will see him/her and the insurance company will provide him/her with an appointment number.
  • When the insurance company calls to schedule the appointment, it must indicate the patient, the time, the physician who will see him/her and the appointment number.
  • When the patient presents to Cardio Care, he/she must provide the assigned appointment number and sign the patient control chart. If the patient does not have this appointment number on the day he/she presents, he/she must call the insurance company before going to the doctor's office.
  • The co-payment for consultation or consultation + EKG varies depending on whether it is CHN, Bantrab or Banrural.
  • When leaving the consultation, the insurance area will complete the form with the medical data for laboratory tests and the patient is in charge of making the request to the insurance company.
  • In the case of studies to be performed at Cardio Care, the patient completes the data of the insured and the insurance area will make the arrangements with the insurance company and the appointment will be coordinated.
  • For authorization of medications, the pharmacy area carries out the paperwork with the insurance company and the medication will be dispensed.
