• Medical evaluation
• Administration of medications prescribed by the attending physician to stabilize the patient. This does not require hospitalization.
• Tests or studies that are required for determining the patient's diagnosis.
If after being evaluated by one of our specialists it is determined that hospital treatment is required, the patient will be referred to the hospital of his choice.
Because of the proximity of the Cardio Care to the Centro Medico Hospital, the patient may opt to be transferred there by one of our nurses. The hospital staff will take the patient in a wheelchair, if necessary.
For comfort and safety, the patient will be admitted at the emergency room, according to the requirements of the treating physician.
